I went yesterday and though there was a slight breeze in the afternoon, these guys are just going to tear it apart with no wind to protect the course.
Watched Phil’s group for the afternoon and he was wayward off the tee.
Paul Lawrie had his young lad on the bag, which was bigger than him and he was huffing and puffing up some of the slopes.
Watched Miguel smoking a cigar while chipping and Coulserts smoking a fag next to him
Saw Luke doing some practice putting and he missed every one!
Course looks in good nick despite the amount of rain the last few weeks. They have put in loads of drainage so should not have the same problems as last year.
The only downside to the day was bumping into Alex Salmond, does that guy ever spend any time in Parliament?
