I take it everyone is coming down with a case of Ryder Cup fever - I'm certainly excited although I'm not so sure that it's going to be the cake walk for Europe that a lot of people are predicting

Surely Tiger and the US team can't keep underperforming?

Granted I dont think it's going to be a walkover but with guys like JJ Henry and Lucas Glover I can't see the US turning over the Euros especially with the Irish crowd roaring them on

We seem to have the better matchplayers on paper (especially after Wentworth last week) but it doesn't always work out like that.

I think the captains as always will be crucial - Lehman has impressed me so far but I was a little worried at how Woosnam handled the wildcards. I'm going for a European win, but only by the skin of our teeth. Who does everyone think will be the top points scorer ?

I agree on Woosie - I just hope he's a bit more considered in the team room that he was in the press conference

Top points scorer?

I have won cash on the last two by picking Toms as top US man at the Belfry and Westwood Top Euro at Oakland Hills

this time I'm going for Garcia and Furyk

I reckon there is likely to be a bit of a surprise and I can see someone like David Howell really pulling it together and coming out on top for the Europeans, while a rookie might just come out for the Americans and do it...Vaughn Taylor is my pick!
Am a little concerned as a European fan because, while my head tells me that we have got it cornered my heart is saying no chance - a European team favourite, with a better team on paper...argh!!!
