WHS should be sorted once we're back out playing.

Our golf course gets a month's rest.

I won't drink as much at the club.

Is that it is better than last time, I am now allowed to support my direct family via a bubble and babies don't count as the one + one.

A very positive thing.

Also going to go back to swing as hard as I can, helps to relieve the tension, not sure if that is a positive thing for the swing tho:LOL:

The course will get chance to have a breather and the greenstaff can get winter work done

Will spend more time with the family

Get through some good box sets

Will get the speed sticks going again

Positives:

The roads should be quieter so my work hopefully won’t be so stressful, but I personally don’t think they’ll be as quiet as they were throughout April and the last lockdown earlier in the year.

Negatives:

No news from TFL yet if they’ll cancel the congestion charge again.

Too many phone calls from joe bloggs who don’t know the difference between a courier & a carrier, then they get arsey when I quote them X amount to collect something they’ve bought online without even thinking how they’ll get it, especially when it’s at least 100 miles away!

I've got to spend more time with the kids and less time on my own in the car every day. This could also be seen as a negative if they are playing up ?.

I've saved a load of money by not going out or spending loads every day on coffee and lunch. So the credit card debt from doing the kitchen has gone.

With the wife at home I've not bought many toys as she may intercept a delivery. Although the one day post lockdown she was at home my new carbon bike and putter arrived on the same day. One of which has not been used since it arrived.

I've been able to play more golf with the boy, as I can switch off the laptop at 5 and play on an evening with him on the local 9 hole pitch and put.

I did lose weight and get much fitter initially, but have since slipped back into not doing much exercise.

Well at least we have an end date to work towards.

Football ⚽ and golf ⛳ , especially The Masters, is on TV unlike before.

I was toying with doing a one month spending freeze, not buying any golf gear, I'll do that now... Was also thinking about a month of only buying food from the base, that'll cost about £130 apart from milk and wine.... That might be tough but I'm giving it a go...

So all in all plenty of sport on TV and should save some money...

Sedexo gruel, no thank you, I’d learn to cook

Perhaps I should pick that up again. Played for about 15 years until I moved to the UK almost 6 years ago. Haven’t played since.

YouTube is definitely the guitarist's friend these days. Massive amount of tuition out there, most of it pretty good. Whatever music you are into just search for a song and somebody has it covered. I spend hours playing along to backing tracks.
