The point in medal tees??

thats some difference yeardley, dont think ive seen that big a difference even on the championship courses ive played, where do you play (the sadist in me fancies playing a 7000+ track lol)

you don't have to go that far. Thorpe Wood is 7000, if we play off the whites. keep watching as GB72 is hoping to get something going there.

I have always wondered why, in competitions and especially mixed ones, men play of the white tees but women stay on the red tees. Surely if blokes are moving back to the white tees, the women should move back to the yellows to even it up.

don't get me started on red tees. we have measured white and red (and at last yellow) tees. I have never seen a women's medal played of the red markers, always off the daily reds. I don't think any of them have ever played the measured course.
