The Open - how is it for you

Why don't they tell us when they were banging on about the Jigger Inn that although it quite possibly the best 19th in St Andrews, the proletariat won't be allowed in because Andrew "FAT" Chandler has monopolized it for the entire open week?

Looks like a few of the Brits are in good shape although I'd have preferred Rose and Poulter (2 of my EW tips) to have done slightly better given the conditions. Hopefully Westwood will get similar conditions to the morning starters tomorrow and so kick on.

Forecast is for reversed conditions tomorrow, so the guys that got the brunt of the bad weather today will get the worst of it tomorrow too, apparently.

did anyone hear alliss talking about the deaf competition being played next week? he said go along and support them although they wont hear you clapping!! what an ass

Yes, I fear that the old guy's brain is lagging a little behind his mouth nowadays.
It's sad because, to me and probably most others, he's the iconic voice of golf broadcasting.

I see Alliss is going on tour this autumn/winter around various UK theatres. Tells some tales in the first part then takes questions later.
Anyone going to see him?

I was thinking about it as he's playing at The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham which is about 15 minutes from my house, not so sure now though!
