it's out, some nice pairings, didn't realise Nick Faldo was playing (alongside Tom Watson and Freddie Couples) certain individuals on this forum will be in meltdown :rofl: I'll be seeking him out as he's a legend in UK golf and to see 3 of my hero's in one 3 ball will be fantastic.

Yes Sir Nick said he wanted one last outing in the Open and felt Muirfield the best place to officially bow out due to where the course stands in his success.

Shame I'm way down here in kent thats a 3 ball i'd love to follow and hope they get plenty of air time to watch them

it's not a fix in the way you mean, it's certainly 'decided' as to who plays with whom and when.........don't believe they have elluded otherwise but the word 'draw' is misleading...
Also anyone playing AM round 1 is automatically PM for round 2....

And yes the 3 big hitters where together in the US Open aswell.

Well, as he is the biggest draw in Golf it's not unreasonable to use him in this scenario is it?

Wouldn't sound quite the same using Stephan Dartnell would it.........
 
It's written as if it has been fixed for Tiger himself... Does what times best for you Mr Mickelson have the same ring to it??? It's not fixed and no player would be asked what times best for them so why is it being suggested that Its based around what suits Mr Woods???

I was merely been sarcastic and yes I know its for the TV. Has Woods ever teed off at 6.32 in the open. No he hasn't because TV wouldn't let him.

Not at all mate, I read a thread expecting to read what people thought of the groupings and less than half a page in its suggested that the draw is made to suit Tiger, like I said pathetic.

So if Mickleson's name had been used instead of Tiger's I assume you'd have been up in arms complaining in a similar manner.............

Who's up in arms :rofl: if this is your way of provoking a reaction then you must try harder. The thread should never have been dragged into how the draw is made and if any player influences it in the first place.
