I went to the Open in 2000 and it was featured groups, it's always been like that since I took an interest in golf. I bet if you went back to the 1960's Palmer and Nicklaus etc were playing in featured groups.

Westwood and Mickelson were doing bits early on, making us think we were in a time warp. Matty Fitz had a good round, which is surprising, considering I've backed him - must be gearing up for an epic bottlejob. And Scheffler sort of moseyed around looking a bit mediocre, so of course he is only one off the lead. Standard for him.
Glover has just gone -3 after two holes!

Can't believe they think Tommy's ball was sitting down in that bunker. I watch it run to the front, all the way back down to the back then settle in the middle. No rake marks anywhere, it looked perfect.
Wonder what they would think of the average member course bunker.
