Might be time to play some of the younger guys. Personally I’d seriously consider picking Hoejgaard and Ludvig Aberg.

No idea why Aberg keeps getting mentioned - he may well turn out to be a good player but he hasn’t done anything to justify getting a pick yet
Meronk, Harrington, MacIntyre backing up the field. Straka will have please Captain Donald. The other three, leaving him worriedly brow-furrowed.

It’s not really a surprise with Harrington or MacIntyre

And as discussed- Harrington will be nowhere near a selection

But they aren’t backing up the field as they made the cut

Assuming he doesn't make a horlicks of the last few holes, Harman could be 6 or 7 clear by tonight..
I think it reasonable to suggest that Rahm will do well to match today's score as will Young.
Level par round probably wins it by 2 or 3 easily....
Sadly, this won't make it a particularly good viewing spectacle.

Well we all know the last person to blow a 5 shot lead in bad weather

Well done to Harmon. He played very tidy golf there.

Hopefully someone from the chasing pack can have a round like Rahm and put some pressure on to make it interesting.

Watching the highlights - if only Sky could bring in Andrew Cotter and Ken Brown whilst removing Laura Davies and Radar

Feels like a bit of a non event today, Harman will need to have an absolute shocker to lose that lead.
It’s happened before. He did manage a par down the 18th but he looked a bit twitchy. A bad start today and he could go into reverse. Specially if those in front of him get off to a flying start.

Only consolation is that is it will be wet, there will be a 16mph breeze and it's scheduled to switch throughout the round from W to NE.

That will significantly change many holes and will make 17 behind and off the right, not ideal for Hamran's fade.

6pm gusts up to 25mph.

Sky - it would be good if you could just put the golf action on please instead of the inane nonsense.

It has happened twice in 40 years. Here is hoping this is 3 times so this isn't a complete wash out...
