I saw his tee shot at the first this morning and noticed neither him nor his caddy shouting Fore when he was heading into the crowd. Exactly the same thing happened last week at the Scottish Open on the 16th when he hit a massive slice into the crowd. Absolutely no excuse for not shouting Fore.

Pretty sure they want it to hit someone in the crowd as you get a good lie on the trampled down grass.

It probably is idiots from the US shouting inane drivel.
I encountered it at St Andrews one open, well-dressed, obviously well off young men entertaining themselves and nobody else.
Got to feel for Justin Thomas, just really struggling with his game.

I've seen more Pros play sideways or backwards out of bunkers today than I have in the last 30 years combined....

The bunkers are fantastic but some of the course management has been really poor.
Could be a huge moment for Rory that. Pretty sure that was a massive slice of luck

I think we are going to see a whole lot more of players full sending it into the grandstand on 18 for free relief since the bunkers are killing them.

In one of the after practice round interviews one of the players said it’s better to go wide to take out the bunkers. I can’t remember the player now but if that’s a players choice to hit into the crowd then something is wrong. Choosing to hit someone rather than find a bunker?? Glad I’m watching from home
for my own safety.

Marco penge in the last group stands over the ball for ages before pulling the trigger. He did on 18 anyway.
Trying in vain to align lines on their balls, and standing astride the lines of their putts mainly. Both should be banned. Only by forbidding some of the time wasting activities will time be cut from rounds.How can it take them so long?
