I genuinely thought he started waffling while we waited for the crowd to be moved back, thought it was funny as Butch didn’t know how to answer him.

I have said before I like Faldo when he is taking about the golf we are watching but he always seems to bring it back to him and his achievements.I actually love Faldo. You just never know what you're going to get from him. Could be something insightful about the course that only he knows. Could be something about how he beat Greg Norman or it could be some space age waffle about trees. Keeps you on your toes.
Never seems to mention the Ryder Cup though.
On this occasion on the 18th he could have told us all how it feels to be that close to winning the masters not about the energy of an Oak tree

I think Faldo is blooming funny. Probably too dry for many. He also can speak with authority about the situation, but we have pages of opinion from folk who can't.

Faldo is absolutely an Alan Partridge/David Brent type character. The recent Faldo story that the BBC's Ian Carter told on The Chipping Forecast was both bizarre and funny.
