I may not of seen many golf tournaments in my short 16 year life, but sitting hit for 4 nights in row I can simply say this has been the best yet and im sure will be the best for years to come. Some magic moments, including simply stunning shots and great pairings (most notably Woods and Mickelson) and concluding with a breathtaking playoff.

I'll leave this for the rest of the forum to discuss now,

I quite agree. One of the best masters for many years. I thought Micklson on the front nine today was exceptional, Tigers determination nearly saw him through and then the climax in sudden death. All played out against such a great backdrop. Who could ask for more

Me ;)

Yes the golf was stunning, but I'm not a fan of Chad and I hate Perry.

And I want to see a decent Euro show, please.

But apart from that......

I think it just proved once again that there is a huge question mark over big lefties bottle.

I heard it smash over the pond in Scotland, would love to know how loud it was over in uncle sam????

Fabulous golf. That's how some of us older forumers remember the Masters being years ago - a final 9 shoot out.

Thought Cabrera came in 'under the radar' to nick it, Perry blew it by chipping like I do!

Glad to see Phil show no intimidation and take it to Tiger in their other match, destroying him early doors. Tiger give him his dues came back strongly but I admit I was very disappointed in Phil's missed short putts late on which could've got him right up there. Very bad tee shot on 12 too which ruined his momentum but that's Major pressure.

Overall a terrific show.

Yes, M's putts let him down, but at least he gave a gracious interview post match. Tiger was barely polite. Great sportsman? I don't think so.

I've noticed Alliss is now having regular digs at Tiger when he speaks (or grunts) and bigging up the lads that do give a little to the media. Perry was very forthright as was Mickelson and Campbell.

If Tiggy has missed Campbells putt on the first play off hole he wouldn't have spoken to anyone.

You almost feel sorry for the interviwer with Tiger, the patronising disdainful one word answers from Tiger in his "Do I have to speak to you you horrid little man" style makes quite uncomfortable viewing imo.

Enoyed it in it was the best Masters for a few years but wouldn't have said it's been the best major recently.

I'd give that accolade to the last couple of British Opens.

CrapHacker, how can you hate Perry? Have you met the guy to make such a judgement? If not can I ask what you justification for hating him is?

I find it hard to dislike any golfer, be it the local guys I play with daily never mind a Pro I've never once met.

It's the swing.

If he gave up golf and we went out for a quiet bevvy, I'm sure I'd love the bloke.

But that swing .............

does that mean you also hate Furyk?

Perry's interview afterwards was very humble and TBH he came across as a nice guy.
applauding Cabreras putt on the first play off was v sporting.
