The man for the job is.....MONTY

There is no doubting that Monty has been a good pro in his time, and has a very good Ryder cup record,but he just does not come across as a likeable person when interviewed.Always seems like he doesn't want to be there and resents people asking for his time.
I think he needs to win a Ryder cup for me to warm to him

Not yet but I have cleared the date in my diary for Sept 2010,no doubt he will be on once he misses the cut this week looking for advice not just on how to go about this captaincy malarky.I may tell him to come to see how it's done 1st hand on the 20th/21st of this month......spare bed in the Travelodge anyone?

Not sure what experience Monty has of leading a team, hopefully those making the selection did have it on their list.

He captained the UK&I team for the first few Seve Trophies albeit a different beast to the Ryder Cup.
