The London Club Green Fees?

They do a winter deal at about £80 with some food. I played it about 5 years ago and it was ok but didn't have that wow factor.

I've played the International twice now with fellow Forumers and, tbh, there was no "wow" factor about the course (as Chris said).

OK, we played it "out of season" but it was long, featureless, windswept, and overpriced.

Oh. We got a free course planner. Sorry, but at the green fee price, that planner must have been worth at least £20.

Would I play it again? No, unless the green fee was a lot cheaper, the (Forum) company was good - or I was playing the Heritage course with a member.

Leftie is spot on

Also, I tried to play it on a winter deal last year at a time when it was very wet and the course had often been closed. I rang and checked there were bookings available for the next day and there were hardly any slots booked. The weather forcast was iffy and they wanted payment with the booking, I asked if I got a refund if it rained or the course was closed and the answer was emphatically NO - you can just rebook! I asked if we could ring the next day, book and play on the day and the answer was that we had to pre book!

There was absolutely no flexibility, help or customer care. I felt it was all about getting your money to subsidise the members course. We didnt bother in the end, we got up next day rang Littlestone Golf Club and played there on a beautiful sunny day for less than The London Club cost - result, a good day at a better course!
