A few days ago I had never heard of this club but now I've seen it mentioned twice!

Is this a case of a poor quality golf course failing to make the cut? It's an area with an abundance of courses at different price points.
The course is in a beautiful location, has great potential and some really good holes, but suffers badly from poor drainage - it can get very wet over the winter months. Plans were in place to do significant drainage work...but as things have come to pass over the last year - just unviable...hopefully not shut for good though as the land is both not the best for development (it's very hilly) and, given where it is, unlikely in any case to get planning permission.
