It basically hinges on Villa finishing outside the Top 4 and winning the EL. A good bet but Liverpool will need to step up and get 4th.

Ive not witnessed a performance so clueless and lacking in desire since the late 80s.

Its been going that way for a while now, just the European and League Cup progress has masked things.

Consideting we havent played for three weeks we have just tossed off two atrocious performances.

We are making Spurs look good...id hate to see the a table representing matches played since Xmas...we would be certainly fighting relegation...and possibly failing.

I think Eddie is a dead man walking.

I genuinely dont know....with it being the World Cup I think there will be a big summer merry go round and coaches who might not be on amyones radar will become available.

There are no obvious candidates at the moment and for those who DESPERATELY want Howe out (and from the noises I heard around me at and after the match today there are a significantly growing number of them) then its definitely a case of be careful what you wish for.

Unfortunately we need to be doing much of our foundation setting before the World Cup....any later and it will be too late, which means we may miss out on some hungry young coach and make a panic decision like Mourinho.
