I’m tempted to say that var would have sent him off but in reality var would have recommended the wolves player to be booked for diving.
I think Jesus should get a double red card for being an idiot. When they showed the replay from a distant camera, he was rolling about in agony just outside the box. Would have been a dangerous free kick position. As soon as the final whistle went, signalling no chance of getting a free kick, he instantly jumped to his feet and looked to have his fight with the Wolves player. Another remarkable recovery.

I think Jesus did really well to get up when he did, I didn’t think he would rise again until Easter.
I’ll get my coat 🧥

I said at the time when Arsenal bought Jesus and Zinchenko. It was a fantastic bit of business for City.Jesus and Zinchenko were bit part players for City and were never going to take Arsenal to another level.

What does that have to do with Jesus potentially having a red card

Jesus has done well at Arsenal but suffering a lot for injuries

And I don’t expect they signed Zinchenko to take them to another level

Forest were so good in that half I think the new coach will still be here for the second half
We were really, really good tonight. Like a completely different team, almost. Lord knows what Dyche was doing to them.

Hopefully we see the same type of positivity and freedom come the weekend. Much tougher prospect than Fenerbahce though 😬

Brother in law went to the game. He said they were kept behind for that long after the game he could have had his teeth done and had hair transplants. 🤣

hahaha! yep - I had a few mates there and they said the same. They did say that the welcome from the locals and fans was 2nd to none though, having expected it to be very hostile. I've heard nothing but positive experiences.

Sounds like a good few players stayed out for a bit and helped lead the chanting in the stands.

Was refreshing to see the new gaffa actually stay out and applaud the fans. Dyche didn't do that once (neither did Ange tbf) and always headed straight down the tunnel after every game win, lose or draw.

Just seen a lovely clip on Facebook after the Fenerbache and Forest game. Stefan Ortega and Ederson having a natter. Both were at City last year as Number 1 and number 2 keepers

My mistake - one out of 25 games ain't bad I suppose. 😅

He certainly hasn't done it since then (which, coincidently is when he threw the squad under the bus publicly after the game)
The reason I posted it mate, is besides his issues to be a top manager, one think he has always done, Burnley, Everton included is to show his appreciation of the supporters, especially the away fans who followed the Clubs he was at, so I genuinely do not believe for one minute he did as you first stated.

To confirm - he has 100% done this for weeks - I've seen it with my own eyes. 1-1 draw to wolves last week, boos ringing out after an absolutely abysmal performance and he was straight down the tunnel. Same thing the previous 3-4 games at least. I hold my hands up - he's clearly done it at games in the past, but Cooper and Nuno did it right up to the last - every game without fail. We lost 5-0 away to Fulham right before Cooper got the sack - he came over and apologised and applauded the fans and we continued to sing his name....the same can't be said for Dyche - when the going got tough, he disappeared down the tunnel without so much as a wave.

I don't hate the bloke - I really wanted it to work, as he's always been fond of the club and both Woan and Stone are certified club legends - it could have been so special....but it's clear he has absolutely no tactical nouse whatsoever and his decision to not acknowledge the support when times got tough isn't a good look.

The Ortega signing could not have been more timely.

Sels gets a groin injury literal days after Ortega came in...and he's been solid since taking over the starting spot.

You expect a man to clap and wave to people who are directly booing him?? I'd be legging it as well tbh.

Mate, even this contradicts your original post though, I never said he clapped the fans every game, but he certainly didn’t ignore them for every game either.👍🏻
