I'm wondering what they'll discuss on the Overlap this week with Ian Wright (although they only film every 2 weeks, so not sure if they'll be filming this week or next week)!?
Aside from her generally being an idiot, targeting Ian Wright is baffling. When she made her famous 'goal a game' gaffe, the only person who publicly came out and defended her was... Ian Wright. She has a funny way of picking her battles. Don't think he'll be defending her again this time.

This is one occasion where it would be worth watching the radio.

I listened to it in the car and at times she just had no answers for the holes she had dug herself into

I stuck it for 25 cringeworthy minutes, during which time Aluko did absolutely nothing to alter the views that so many have of her. The reverse, in fact.

She just floundered under the questioning, and kept reverting to the fact that, if she shared a TV studio with pundits she regarded as brilliant, then by default she herself must be brilliant.

Horrible. Just horrible.

I always liked her in Star Trek though.

Exactly. One moment she claims she's the protector for women's football and rights, then goes on to talk about herself non stop 😅

I wonder if she's actually all there? All pundits make mistakes but the difference is they laugh at themselves and don't go around with a serious face telling everyone how 'world class' they are. Someone like Merson makes a lot of bad calls (plenty of good ones too) but he's liked because he's got a personality.

Aluko is the very worst at everything.
When you use the colour of skin, when you use your sexuality to try and get over an opinion. You have lost the argument straight away. The telling thing about her is that none of her ex playing colleagues are supporting her.
She is the footballing equivalent of Diane Abbott.

Spurs nailed on for a win here. Newcastle all over Spurs but not creating decent opportunities....gonna be made to pay eventually.
Well...eventually we made the pressure pay...one goal disallowed by the depth of a palyers haircut but then a good bit of sharp poaching by Thiaw off his own saved header to grab a narrow lead at the break.

Not sure Spurs can play as badly in the second half so I reckon we could do with a early goal after the break just to settle us down so dont have to chase things too much...Burn and Trippier at full back are both susceptible to balls played over the top so can see Spurs having joy if they try to put balls over into those areas.

Useless defending. Spurs first corner in the 63rd minute and they score from it.

Haven't been in the game this second half. Burn needs bringing off for Lewis Hall. Barnes off, move Gordon to the left and bring Wissa or Woltemade on through the middle to ask Spurs a different sort of question.

Hell....what do I know....now go and get another and put this game to bed.

Another disappointing 45 minutes from Everton, this time it was a bad 2nd half, could of should of been 2 up at half time, Barry misses a sitter at the start of the 2nd half and B’Mouth score 2 in 3 minutes, then we go down to 10 men.

B’Mouth deserved the win, but needed a bit of help from VAR for their 2nd.

Definitely not playing well in the new stadium.

Our kid's gone tonight. Dirty old night as well to be making your way home dejected.

I’ve already been asked if I’m disappointed in that result.

Why would I be? West Ham packed their defensive third every time United had the ball. United did not play as well as they have been doing. We don’t play well away against this opposition. And we were never going to win every game under Carrick.

So let’s be realistic. A great finish. A really hard earned point away from home. And we’ll still be 4th after this round of fixtures with Palace at home next up.

So on balance I’ll take that.

That’s why imo Sesko was always the better buy than Gyokeres long term , his ceiling is higher given time and development- still surprised that Arsenal switched away from him

His attitude is first class. He hasn’t let the fact he has been on the bench get to him, and when he has come on he has taken his chance.

It’s his first season, as a young lad, at a new club in a new league when he has spent much of that time being expected to carry the attack. Carrick has managed him really well, and I think he will benefit from having been taken out of the firing line a little.
