You don’t to agree that’s why it’s an opinion they’re all different. Best was a legend my Dads all time favourite. I can see how good he was but imo others did and achieved more in world football and for me that’s why he misses out on a spot.

It’s hard to compare especially in a team environment but that Man Utd team was outstanding
Cruyff did that 3 times on the bounce for Ajax as well as winning the old European Footballer of the year 3 times in 4 years
A lot of times when these sort of discussions happen Cruyff gets forgotten about a little

Makes a change for Newcastle to get a late goal.
Players are lacking in confidence at the moment...too many touches trying to be "sure"...need to get back to the crisp onectouch fast football but i guess thats easier said than done.
Some pegs in the wrong holes tonight but great for Wissa to grab a goal on his first start.
At times though Fulham carved their way through with too much ease in those early stages of the first half and the old bloke next to me was going apoplectic at times.
Elanga seems terrified to use his pace and the crowd are getting right on his back and that wint help him at all.
Hope the Livramento injury isnt too bad.
Man C in the semis will be tough...especially with the 2nd leg being away from home.
Just some ramblings as i enjoy a final beer before going to bed...nice hotel but i wont be booking one on the quayside again...too bloody steep a hill to get up (and down) to the city center.

In answer to the other questions - I wont ever say we are because we're just not in a race. Were in a top 4 race and that's it. Champions will be one of two teams - City or Arsenal.
Hope we can do City a favour and beat Arsenal again away but its unlikely!

A very honest non rose tinted glasses opinion. However I think Villa have done very well v City and Arsenal and deserved there results. Keep on the tails of City and Arsenal and it will make it very interesting. Forest very nearly did it last season.

Just curious as they have been noted as two of the greatest sides of all time. Barcelona especially. If you think attacking football, record goal hauls and trophies are boring I'd love to know what you base your judgements on entertaining football on
Please don't say a 4-4 draw between two average sides in Utd and Bournemouth

When Sky had La Liga, I'd always enjoy watching Real Madrid. Who played entertaining football, that involved risk taking.
I despised watching Barcelona. Even though I would also say they could be the best ever side, and I love Messi. I just hated watching such one sides games, with lots of slow possession based play, etc.
If Arsenal were suddenly asked to play in Scottish League 2, they would dominate every side, and score about 200 goals. Unless you are an Arsenal fan, not many will be entertained by that.

With the exception of Champion’s League, I don’t watch Spanish or German football, so can’t comment.

Sums it up pretty well. Barca, Bayern and City imo under Pep were/are boring sides to watch. Same goes for Arsenal under Arteta which as a Pep protege is hardly surprising. It’s formulaic, dull and yes it’s scores a lot of goals but that’s because they bore team into mistakes and submission
I love Messi as well he’s a genius but one Genius in a team capable of magic doesn’t stop the rest of the football being dull and repetitive, same goes for Haaland he’s a goal machine but City are still dull.

Well, there’s not many people believe a 4-4 draw is boring.
If I had my cynical head on I’d say you’re trolling for a reaction. But then, maybe, you actually believe end to end football with a hatful of goals isn’t exciting.
