So you think a team that played attacking football and were top scoers in 7/10 of Pep's seasons were boring? They averaged 91 goals a season too and set records with goals scored and goal difference. I prefer the old school 442 with proper wingers and two up front but can't believe you could call City boring. What did you think of Barca under Pep and also Bayern?
Please can you keep facts out of your opinions please 😉👍

Surely if a person says something is boring, and they are not trolling, then their view is 100% correct. Because they are describing their own emotion.

Doesn't mean they are saying you should feel the same thing. One person can say its boring, another can say it is exciting, and both are correct.

I also found City boring. Not because they often played out stalemates. The opposite. It was often a no contest. There was little risk. It's great for fans of the clubs, and their stress levels. Dull for many others

Did you find Utd boring when they did exactly the same in the nineties and noughties. And very often City were on the end of some of Those no contests. and if memory serves me right Utd were the greatest team in the world then. 🤔

Did you read the very last bit you highlighted? The bit where I said it is great for fans of that club!?

It isnt for me to say how boring Man Utd were back then. I wanted us to win, we were winning, I was happy. It is for other fans to judge, in their subjective opinion

An opinion is defined as a view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

So the number of goals Manchester City have scored, the number of points they have accumulated, the number of trophies won, all of that is absolutely irrelevant. For the most part, I have found their style of football boring. I don’t enjoy it.

There really is nothing else to say, and anyone seeking to beat those of us who hold that opinion over the head with facts is wasting their time and breath.

I find the majority of premier league football pretty dull to watch tbh.
Bring back old school 442

George Best is an absolute legend. But I’m not sure he gets in any greatest ever side of legends. To short a career, unfortunately playing for NI meant he couldn’t showcase at the highest level unlike others in the list.

Phenomenal player but think there are just a few ahead in that all time great team debate.
I cant agree with that. George Best had a longer career than many people think.
To not include him in a legends team is wrong.
I watched him from when he first moved over from Ireland. Cruyff was very good but doesnt get near Best.He had everything, balance, left foot right foot, heading, speed and best of all, dribbling ability. And remember, all that on heavy muddy pitches and leather balls.

I did, but I actually thought Utd were world class when they were dominating football. Obviously I think City play good football, but like Liverpool last year and in previous years they have been very good.

I haven’t really seen much of him, hows he looking?
He is a rough diamond, when he is on it he is world class, but occasionally he does things and you think “ what”. He was a few pounds overweight and he was told to do more defensive work in protecting his full back ( like Salah should do). I think the first time he kinda showed his face in England was when he played against Utd for Lyon, April 25 in the Europa league in what was a classic 5-4 win for Utd.
He is a quality player and with him on one wing and Doku on the other, it Is good to watch. Oh he just got MOTM.
