The first one was for a tackle that the Barcelona player was screaming and rolling around - was a clean tackle

The player that dived should get a 5 game ban at least. Unless he got hit by some sort of coin we didn't see.
And I thought it was just Premier league refs that were bad
. Even if he did think there was contact, it seemed like all perfectly natural movement. Not like he threw an elbowRashford playing superb again, like a new man at Barca.

Given that many referees give out yellows like confetti, I'd hope VAR did its absolute best not to get involved in yellow card incidents. Game would start having 15 mins of injury time in each half.
However, for yellow card decisions that are 100% wrong, like this one, I wouldn't complain too much if VAR could intervene.
Or at least second yellow card decisions, maybe allow VAR to double check

Is it just me or is the ability of pro football players taking throw ins getting worse. I’ve seen so many foul throws this season but refs are not picking up on it
