Rumour has it Ange and Marianakis came to blows in the tunnel after the match today
If that’s true it shows the owner has no class and shows Ange for the confrontational arrogant mullet he comes across as in the press conferences. Was always a bad mix of personalities and no idea how they thought it was going to work as a club.

Not sure I agree they are all pretty poor.

Mbuemo has probably been one of the few better players at Utd, Pedro started well for Chelsea though he has been quiet recently. Gyokeres I actually feel sorry for, every time I’ve seen him he makes good runs, holds the ball up but Arsenal just don’t play a style of football that requires his type of play, Soon as they get the ball in position to get it into him their wide players cut inside to either shoot or pass across the box and the MF never play a ball in behind. They’re completely wasting everything he does for them to get the ball to him.

The rest though I totally agree with.
Yeah I should have said “underwhelming”.
Maybe you’re right on Gyokeres,I just can’t see how he was scoring a goal a game, maybe it’s him that’s going to have to adapt his game.

As for Wirtz, tbh I’d seen very little of him before he came to to prem, but so far I can’t even see what his role is in the team 😵‍💫

Gyokeres tore Man City a new bum hole in the Champion’s League because the formation he played in had wingers getting the ball into the box to attack and a good No8 sliding balls behind the defence. He was clinical and ruthless with his finishing. But Arsenal play slow boring build up the when you think they will stick the ball in the box it goes backwards. It’s all very safe and doesn’t give the Striker and real opportunities to attacks the ball in the box.

Wirtz has been dire I’ve not seen anything from him that warrants his price tag or that shows the player he was in Germany
Even when he gets on the ball he looks flustered.

Wasn’t great defending but rules are head injury the game is stopped

The explanation from ref is - “didn’t see it”

Embarrassing

Medical attention for the minor head injury caused by his own team mate was delayed by about 10 seconds.
Unless an obvious clash of heads it normally takes a little while to stop the game for a head injury.
Embarrassing to use it to suggest a perfectly good goal shouldn't have been allowed to happen.

You beat me to it.

Three players have a minor coming together. All appears pretty innocuous, albeit one doesn’t immediately spring back to his feet. A mere handful of seconds later United score.

There is absolutely no way a referee in a fast paced game can be expected to process all that and blow up for a possible head injury in the time Oliver had available to him.

To suggest his failure to do so is embarrassing is itself, with the greatest respect, a little embarrassing.

The suggestion is “he didn’t see it” when he was clearly looking straight at it and can see the player on the floor with a head injury - if he decides to play on because he thinks he is “faking” etc that’s his choice - but don’t justify it with claims of not seeing it , at least own it and say he played on because he didn’t think he was worthy of stopping the game

Ok! He played on because it didn't think it was worthy of stopping the game.
There, I've said it

I would like to know who has suggested he didn’t see it?
I don’t remember the game stopping so Geoff Shreeves could interview him.

Good game at the moment.
Again though Liverpool playing far too slowly in the 1st half.

That’s exactly the reason the Sky team said 🤷‍♂️

And it’s a good game - some not so great defending

Now that is embarrassing. A booking for a perfectly good tackle and Carragher suggesting the follow through was reckless.

What, exactly, is Amad supposed to do? Defy the laws of physics?
