Just noticed that the entire upper tier behind the goal City defended during that first half is empty.

Genuinely one of the worst ideas by broadcasters what are they genuinely expecting them to say! I now switch off at half time as a result.
Now if they had the match officials interviewed at half time to explain decisions then it could be worth a watch.

Genuine question to Utd fans! Where is your midfield and why is your defensive line in the other half when you can’t keep clean sheets and have zero protection in front of that back 4!
Bruno cannot play that role and Ugarte is terrible. I guess they weren’t expecting much out of this game I'm not seeing anything that says Utd are improving.

To be fair, most of us knew the front three weren’t the problem. That central midfield is awful, both defensively and creatively. Has been for too long, but in this system it’s a massive issue.

As I said last season - Ugarte was shipped out quickly from PSG for a reason- he is slow in every respect
And the backline are so far wide open it’s too easy

It’s beyond ridiculous that it’s simply not being addressed though and stubbornly playing the same formation expecting different outcomes is surely the definition of insanity.
You need a back 4 and stronger CDM. I’ve said it before but in this formation Bruno doesn’t fit at all and that’s a problem as he’s technically your best player.
