Retro is probably also depending on the teams success of that season.
Leicester’s PL winning shirt was nothing special, but I guess they all like it. Arsenal’s invincibles (but that’s close to the time already), Spurs Europe winning shirt, …
For some smaller teams it will be a promotion shirt
For liddle City it was the div 2 play off final shirt 😁

Ave got one.

Postecolglu in ? Mourinho?

Whats Marinakis's thinking?

Probably that you can’t have your manager saying the stuff Nuno’s been saying to the press recently.

Marinakis not to blame for this one. Seems Nuno hit the self destruct button.

Postecoglou an early favourite, which I can’t get excited about. (Although we do have recent form for getting the best out of someone who was booted from Spurs!)

Maybe Marinakis can do the job himself

Fire up Championship manager 99 , get the editor loaded and away he goes

The writing was on the wall - owner wants a more exciting brand of football , he will find out that it’s not easy to be exciting and successful

Nuno got that team where it is - every chance that this choice back fires on the owner

No surprise there.
It wouldn’t shock me if Forest went through another 2 managers during the season.
The chairman/man not in charge has a history of moving managers on at a quick rate.
Would suit Jose, he could be out of a job by Xmas with another nice chunk of change in the bank.
Not at Forest he doesn’t.

Arguably gave Sabri, Hughton and Cooper more time than other clubs would have given them. And publicly backed cooper when everyone else was calling for him to go.

We won’t have 2 more managers this season

He may not at Forest yet but at all his previous/other clubs he has.

I know some Forest fans who felt Cooper was got rid of too early, mostly due to the fact he got them promoted from a relegation position.

It’s all part of the Makrinos circus and so far it’s working out well for Forest.

He is certainly entertaining and it’s great to have characters in the league and he is certainly that

I’m chairman/founder of the Steve Cooper fan club. You will not find a bigger fan than me. He restored my love of football.

That said, it was definitely the right time to move him on.

Same with Nuno after the very public comments. He’s engineered his own exit. Whether Marinakis could have done more to prevent the rift between Nuno and Edu remains to be seen.

The only way we’ll have 2 more managers this season is if we hire Jose. He’s washed and the game has moved on since his prime.

Marinakis isn’t in the prem to make up the numbers, so although I’m certain Big Ange will replace him (and do better than he did at spurs), if he breaks the bank to lure one of a handful of unhappy managers, then I wouldn’t be surprised, either.

Whilst I agree, people said the same about firing cooper, and look what happened. Marinakis is a smart man and wouldn’t have taken the decision lightly (otherwise it would have happened straight after the West Ham defeat or in the day or two following).

He’s delivered on every promise he’s made so far, so as fans we have to trust he’s done it with the right intentions and back whoever he brings in.

I’m most annoyed as I was just about to get an earlier night last night when it broke and ended up being awake til 1am ffs 😆

If a new man comes in and has a bad first 10 games I think Makrinos will get rid and get a new manager in.

Thats just who he is, nothing wrong with that he wants and expects results and if it’s not working he will change it.

Some clubs stick with a manager too long.

The more clubs challenging at the top is a great thing for the premier league
