Am not sure they would know which direction to throw it. Apparently under Southgate 8% of throws were long. Under Tuchel it is 4%.

Germany were awful in both games. Not sure he can be judged until he's actually been integrated into Howe's style of play....which history has shown could be at least half a dozen matches before he gets significant game time.
Logic, to me, says Wissa starts on Saturday, the new guy comes on as a sub. That happens for a few games until he gets used to the league. Wissa knows the score immediately.
How do you think Howe will do it?

Exactly this. With the introduction of Woltemade getting earlier each week (depending on match situation and opponents) as he becomes accustomed to Howe's tactics, team setup, interplay with colleagues. I think when Guimares signed, he didn't actually play/start for six matches. Howe has a track record of integrating players in to the matchday squad over a period of time...especially those from outside the PL.
Wissa will be different, partly because "needs must", but partly because he already has a wealth of PL experience.

On paper Woltemade has the hallmarks of a panic buy. You lose your best player and then first choice replacements pick other clubs. Newcastle didn't have much choice except flash the cash otherwise the fans would start to get restless.
Haven't seen much of Woltemade but he looks like Havertz except he can dribble. Hopefully he does well as the league needs more entertaining players who can carry the ball forward!

Kind of agree. I used to buy Spurs ones when I attended the odd game and played football two or three times a week. Now I do neither of those things, and the shirts cost about 80 quid so I can't see a single reason to buy one.

How many years old does it need to be to be classed as Retro ?Retro shirts are the way to go if you want a football shirt.
