It’s all gone a bit awkward at Palace

Manager doesn’t want Guehi to leave , owner doesn’t want him to leave on a free next summer

Seems manager threatening to walk if Guehi is allowed to go

Igor decided to go to West Ham because he was worried about the amount of playing time he would get
Desperate times of that happens at Palace, Guehi has been exceptional but the difference the ma anger has made to that squad is exceptional. If they lose him that’s a bigger blow to that team and opens a huge hole.

Don't really understand the Muani signing. I'm sure I saw Frank asked the other day about signing a striker and he basically said no, he was happy with 2 strikers and having 3 creates a problem. So I guess he was signed without Frank's knowledge? Maybe Richy will go back to the left or maybe Solanke is on the way out.
Definitely a signing we needed I think he might well be the best signing of the window, always scores wherever he’s been, not so much with psg but didn’t start enough games.
With the other 2 injured a lot we need him.

Issue is the managers contract ends next summer as well

Also a big club comes calling he would leave at the drop of a hat

Will Palace take the risk of losing £35mil

Genuinely don’t get the business model you know a player has a year left and is a valuable asset so makes sense to move him on but to not forward plan and look at other options before hand seems naive !

How much will Parish blame it on the Europa saga! But not tying the manager down seems even more silly at this stage. Some big risks being made there

He has been clear that he wasn’t going to sign a new contract and don’t know why they waited to get someone in to replace him

The stupidity and irony of football fans!

Newcastle fans have put a banner outside the club stating Isak is a Rat but Wissa is a Geordie 😂

So they hate Isak for downing tools and moaning about broken promises but already like Wissa who’s down exactly the same thing! You really can’t make it up or defend stupidity 😂

It was the same with Antony Gordon who did the same to force the move to Newcastle

£20mil for Antony not sure if it’s Man Utd paying the £20mil 😁

They hadn't spent much before though. Lots in the bank together with some sales.
They hadn’t but I think the point of a previous manager went along the lines of “ there are only three clubs that spend so much money”.. it was a point that was well quoted on here. However you dress it up. Liverpool have joined the ranks of others in buying titles, but at another level. Am not criticising that because that was always going to be the case.

They’ve done what now! I’m no Liverpool fan but they didn’t buy the title last 2 titles they won ! They haven’t won the title this season yet as the seasons barely begun!

Yeah they spent a fortune this season as have Arsenal but how is that comparable to being bought by a billionaire then literally spending all the money to blow teams out of the water from nothing.

Liverpool have spent years rebuilding their brand and owners have spent what they’ve brought in over the years and well within PSR. Something seems a little desperate and reaching in your comments to either justify your own teams past or to belittle their achievements! Either way that’s a little bit of a sour post 🥱

They won the title after spending £10mil

Liverpool have spent money they have earned and spent big after spending next to nothing since summer 2023

Even with the Isak signing

Last 6 years

So basically the same as Trent 🤷‍♂️
Don’t know why Liverpool let him run his contract down 🤷‍♂️
Not even remotely similar! They had been blooding a replacement in Bradley and signed Frimpong the moment transfer window opened. So they had a replacement lined up and signed way before the season begun, Palace have left it to the death and now look to have lost their star CB without signing anyone to replace him. You’re reaching there with that comment!
