Looks as if it is going to be a long, hard season for Wolves.

Is the apparent lack of recruitment down to PSR or are Fosun unable to get money out of China?

Either way the manager seems to have one hell of a job on his hands.

Be an interesting question to ponder that. O’Neill when he was there complained he’d been asking for signings needed to boost the squad and was told there’s no money.

Now seems the new (ish) manager is suffering from that same lack of funds. Work with a load of wolves fans and tjeyve all said they now have a good manager but the club just aren’t letting anyone spend.

Forest could have just made the signing of the summer.
We’ve, apparently, got Luiz and Kalimuendo to come as well (we also need a fullback so Rico Lewis is still on the table) 😅 but I’m very excited about McAtee

I’m certain this business would have all been conducted sooner had UEFA pulled their finger out with their decision on what they were doing about Palace. Oh well. Hopefully we get some points on the board before these new lads have had enough time to fully gel with the squad.

Read a piece last night where City have brought in four players for the privacy of Wirtz.

Mind a couple of years ago clubs could have said they bought in four players for the price of Grealish 😂.

Are you not fluent in the language of the Tash?
You take the first letter of each word and replace it with the 3rd vowel of the Greek language.
Then replace the letter R with the number 8.
Every time you see the word Rammel you have to do a shot of Tequila.
It still don’t make sense but it’s much more fun 😂

I watched City's highlights yesterday and what a player Reijnders is,fabulous to watch! The ideal replacement for De Brunne.
As for my team Brighton, so so disappointed that they let Fulham back in with almost the last kick of the game.
Hope it's not going to be the same as last season. 😡

Palace goal disallowed. If it was the other way around, with defender moving into attacker, l would the ref have given a penalty?
Apparently it was because Guehi was within 1m of the wall, have to admit I didnt even know that was a rule. Here it is from the FA Site.

Where three or more defending team players form a ‘wall’, all attacking team players must remain at least 1 m (1 yd) from the ‘wall’ until the ball is in play

I don't get that I'm pretty sure I've seen attacking players right up against the wall nearly all the time. Sometimes results in a bit of shoving and ref having to tell players to wise up.

Unless it is a new rule?

I saw yesterday a ref give a corner because gk held on to ball longer than 8 seconds. Not against that rule, but just waiting for all the moaning when refs stop implementing it, or are hugely inconsistent

Pretty sure the 1m rule was in place last year. It's a good rule, to stop precisely what happened today. (Edit, apparently it's been around for a few years)

Even if that hadn't been in place, it's as clear a push as you'd ever see. No subtlety about it. Shame though, heck of a strike and a mess by the keeper.
