If Diaz goes then they will look at a wide forward

Won’t be spending £70mil on Ekitike to then spend £130mil on Isak

They are going for Ekitike because they have been knocked back by Newcastle for Isak

Next player we need is a CB
Ektike was on the radar ages ago, it's not a new target.
Youre forgetting Nunez will be going, Diaz maybe if the right figure is offered and obviouosly Jota.

We have too many HG players , need to sell plenty

If Diaz goes then it’s a wide player they would look at - someone like Gordon or Eze but won’t be Isak - that ship for this summer has sailed

Seems like Rashford going on loan to Barcelona

I’d rather get a fee, but as long as he’s out of the club I can absolutely live with it. I don’t doubt United will have negotiated a deal which will include a penalty in the event Barcelona don’t exercise the option to buy.

Which, unless there’s a huge change in the player’s approach, is the most likely outcome.

Suspect the fee option won’t be too big

Think he will do well there

Hope he does. I don’t ever want to see him in a United shirt again.

We’ve spent the best part of a decade pinning our hopes on a player who is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

At long last we seem to be seeing the light and moving on.

Pre season begins. 0-0 versus Leeds. Exciting.

However, Cunha's ability to drive between the lines is definitely nice to see, not something Utd have had. Will be interesting to see how the new young Paraguayan left back develops.

Just noticed Celtic had an eye opening 4-0 win against Newcastle

Not much to take from a friendly, but I thought Dorgu was superb in the 2nd half.

France vs Germany in the womens' Euros is an interesting and entertaining game.
Red card for hair pulling, a missed penalty and a superb save by the German 'keeper to stop a 15yd headed own goal!
However, the play acting and injury feigning is on a level I've not seen before in womens' football.

Also, why does the inner child in me keep laughing when I see the German girl called Minge?

They must have employed a diving coach.

Bolded bit. Diving etc. having had a womens ST at Brighton (so, wsl, cups) since about 2017… it’s been around all the time I’ve been going to the game. And the higher the level the worse it gets.

Just like in the men’s game!

I remember when the England women won the Euro's. Having watched most of their games, one of the things that stood out was the lack of play acting and whinging in the women's game. Even on this thread, most of us mentioned it, and used it to mock their male counterparts by comparison.

Sad if the women have now resorted to the same sort of childish antics as the men.

His wages off the books this season is around £11m which almost covers the first years instalment for Mbeumo. Apparently the fee to buy is £30m so will be interesting to see what happens in the next 12 months at Barca.
