7 weeks in the making but United finally sign Mbeumo! Great signing but the excitement has definitely left me!
I'm still a little excited, or am I getting mixed up with relieved?

Just glad the entire saga of silence is over. And now that this is sorted, perhaps the board can move on to other outgoings and or incomings, as they seem to be only able to do one thing at a time.

I think excitement has given way to relief! Hopefully we can just get shot of the unwanted players and see if there's any money left in the pot.

Who is he ? Why is he on his own as well ?

He's a LB we bought from Feyenoord in 2022, signed by ETH. I don't think he's done anything particularly wrong, he had knee surgery in 2023 and missed 18 month. In that time Amorim came in and he was loaned up to PSV soon after. I don't think he was ever good enough and obviously joined us at a bad time.

What’s going to happen if they can’t sell the 5 players ? Or get the bids they want ?

Probably loan them out. With the possible exception of Malacia they’re all trouble, and I suspect Amorim wants them nowhere near the first team squad.

To be fair to Antony he's not been an issue either, I thought he'd have gone by now as the rumours were he was happy to take wage cuts etc to ensure first team football. I assumed Betis after they sold a play for £35m or so, they could have afforded him and he'd agreed a wage cut in order to move.

Agreed, I perhaps shouldn’t have included him. Things just haven’t worked out for him, and I do have some sympathy for him - it wasn’t his fault he came for an absolutely ludicrous fee.

The latest nonsense in the press is that Saudi side Al Hilal want to buy Isak.

Now Al Hilal are owned, like Newcastle, by PIF....so would this end up being a case of Newcastle selling a player (who they dont want to sell) to themselves?

That would surely make Chelsea selling their own hotel to themselves look a bit elementary....c'mon Blues...you need to up your game!! :ROFLMAO:

Buy Isaak for £150m but then loan him back 😂

He'll be in Red next season;)
Liverpool seem to have a bottomless pit of money so maybe they can spend another £130m without blinking 🤷. I'd be amazed if Newcastle would sell such a key player to them though. At the moment, there is no sign that he is agitating for a move either so I don't think it will happen this summer.

That could all change within a day though 😄
