Fluminense v Inter in the Club World Cup...lots of latin passion out there....I reckon there could be a red card or two.

Interesting to see another Europe v South America clash after watching Bayern dismantle Flamengo last night.

That has to be a low, getting eliminated by Al Hilal.

That is, if you actually care about the Club World Cup.

Either that, or you are just happy to start your summer holiday after a pretty pointless 2 or 3 weeks being stuck in the US

Ha ha , I love the little caveat.
โ€œIf you care about CWCโ€

Disappointing to wake up to City getting KO . Sounds like old defence problems are still with us . Plus side we get a decent break now. It was a great chance to win it though , city definitely had easiest side of the drawโ€ฆ
But no ones interested ๐Ÿ˜‚

The only positive is that City have nearly ยฃ60 million in the bank.

A shocking comp, in shocking conditions on shocking pitches. Citys season has come to an end at last.

Like you say โ€œ wake upโ€ to a result. If you want to grow the game, give it worldwide publicity, why put the game on in the middle of the night. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

It canโ€™t be on at the perfect time for everyone

Get on your holidays lads, far better there than melting at a butlin's tournament. Pep will be doing mini fist pumps this morning.

Pep went very strong during the comp -suspect because of the huge level of money for the winners so getting knocked out early will be a bit of a hit financially for the club who are prob looking to get as much as they can into the club

Think the affects on the players will prob be felt mid season

What time should it be on ?

It wasnโ€™t middle of the night for the US , Far East , Aus , Japan etc - are they also not โ€œworldwideโ€ - or is it just UK/Europe centric thinking

At least Jack Grealish has had a great summer.

If he stays at City, he might be your star man next season. Fresh and ready to go :)

From a fan of a club that has seen many lows. Itโ€™s not as low as sacking the canteen ladies. ๐Ÿ˜–

On a positive note, I do hope lessons have been learned from this comp for when the World Cup is in The USA next year.

Appreciate that most City fans won't actually be that bothered but the United Arab Emirates sportswashing project getting eliminated by a Saudi Arabian club is amusing.
Normally you'd think that the small club would be absolutely ecstatic, with the huge financial rewards for getting through to another round.

On this occasion, the financial rewards is meaningless to the winners of the game.

Do we have any Chelsea fans on here?

If so, do you mind if I ask you - are you concerned about your lack of squad depth, or do you think you will add more options over the summer?

And if rumours are to be believed still keen on Garnacho.

Can only assume that they're planning a lot of sales/loans in the coming weeks?
