God help this forum if they heard the “banter” where I work.
It’s the real world in a lot of working class areas.
Go up to the offices & it’s totally different.
But that is the reality.

There is a difference between work place banta tho and stuff you would write on a work email or on anything recorded

I'm sure everyone on this forum has heard the 'banter' you are talking about before, people won't have been immune from it, particularly if you are over a certain age. We don't live in bubbles. Most workplaces have sifted it out though and any that haven't are leaving themselves open to legal action, their choice 🤷.
it doesn’t get sifted out because it doesn’t get reported.
It really is just classed as banter.
In the offices it’s different.

Marc White, chairman and manager of Dorking Wanderers, has been given a six match touchline ban by the FA for “sexist” remarks made on a podcast.

When talking about women officials he said “You have to pay a bit more respect….help them park.”

Six games.

Have we lost the ability to make and enjoy jokes now?!
Let’s hope no team has to park the bus this season 😖

It’s know your audience and know the rules.

A lot of years ago I sacked an Operations Director. He could be a bit volatile but, equally, was good company. He lost it big time in the office, said things he shouldn’t have and at a high volume. He probably would have got away with it in the warehouse.

Surprised Brighton didn't ask for 80m. Chelsea would probably have paid it.

Chelsea's squad now numbers 6% of the UK population.

Tony Bloom must be rubbing his hands with glee every time Chelsea enquire about a player.

How long before Chelsea enter a second team into the lower leagues or something. Getting silly now

Really enjoyed watching the U21’s grow in this tournament and what a final.

Two teams going toe to toe , no histrionics, no play acting, just great football.

Cresswell and Quansa were amazing, Anderson aswell. Hutchinson will play in the prem again and Harvey Elliot looked a class above. Most importantly, there seemed to be no egos. Lee Carsley management of the team was superb.

Not great news for Sheff Wed , owner refusing to pay anyone in the club for the second month , manager has announced he is off

And Morecombe owners have done the dirty by trying to get more money out of the team buying them

It’s very clear that the fit and proper owner test throughout football has some serious issues

Just done a bit of reading about it. It seems like a glorified "form filling" exercise and that's all. It checks for criminal convictions and sports bans but it doesn't check for source of wealth or proof of sustainable funding and in no way evaluates a person's ability to run a football club or scrutises their strategy and plans for it.

Dai Yongge (Reading FC) passed it, despite a track record of late payments and financial mismanagement. There were concerns about Dejphon Chansiri (Sheff Weds) before he took ownership. And the guy who owned Bury FC passed, despite admitting he didn't even know he owned the club initially and had no funds to sustain it!

So yes. Some serious issues!!!!
