There was a good read up a few days back about how different clubs have approached England U 21’s. Chelsea and Dortmund pulled Delap and Bellingham out to get them experience at the club World Cup. But City and Liverpool left McAtee and Elliot in the squad. One of the reasons was seeing if there value could increase. McAtee would be fantastic alongside MGW at Forest.

Definitely sounds like you guys are increasing their book value where as Chelsea and Dortmund are using this as a pre season

Delap and Bellingham have just moved to their new clubs so both are them are being used as a pre season
McAtee was never going to be in the City squad for the comp and Elliott hadn’t played much this season and Liverpool aren’t in the comp
McAtee needs to sort out his end product - it’s poor , either the final ball or when he has the chance himself

It seems that White has a previous (long) history of getting bans, including for abuse of match officials.

But in reality that joke is SO tame.
If you go on any building sites I work on,that joke would have got hammered for being

I doubt he even meant it to be a “laugh out loud at this” kind of joke. Just a throwaway comment.
The world has / is changing and you adapt or accept the punishment. I agree it's fairly tame but that isn't the point, it's the fact that he made the gag at all on a platform that was going to be heard by anyone. A private chat with him and his dinosaur mates, he can say what he likes, no one else hears it. God help this forum if they heard the “banter” where I work.
It’s the real world in a lot of working class areas.
Go up to the offices & it’s totally different.
But that is the reality.

I'm sure everyone on this forum has heard the 'banter' you are talking about before, people won't have been immune from it, particularly if you are over a certain age. We don't live in bubbles. Most workplaces have sifted it out though and any that haven't are leaving themselves open to legal action, their choice
