You haven’t noticed you’re the only one going on about this sham of a supposed competition?.
It’s nothing but a money maker for FIFA and certain clubs.
I am not the only one going on about it. Of course it is a sham. But it is a revamped sham. For the record do you know who are the current world club champs are without googling it. The world club champs has been running for 25 years on and off and England has the most winners with four. So when English clubs won it they were happy. But to have amateur clubs from whatever country is embarrassing.

Absolutely unbelievable and how the fans can accept that is beyond me. I posted last week about how City fans revolted against City and there prices. City fans now pay a max £60.
Don’t the Utd owners realise it’s Citys Job to ruin football.

Never paid more than £60 to watch a league game. Still, this is yet another stick for people to beat United with.

How about we have a comparison with all Premier League clubs so we can have a nice, balanced discussion?

Another misleading headline. What about the Cat C tickets that are £37?

I’ve just had a quick search through a number of club ticket sites. There’s not the much in it between the top clubs.

For me, they’re all overpriced in terms of taking families to a full season of fixtures.

Man City are the current holders 🙄

It wasn’t much of a comp before hand as well

Since 2006 European clubs have won it every year bar 1

Before that it was the intercontinental

The only people that are going to get beat again is the fans. Those prices are indefensible, especially by the people that are expected to pay those prices. Part of that piece that surprises me is Utd stating they had discussions with supporters groups. The supporters groups have insisted that no discussions have taken place.

Out of interest, where is all the money coming from to pay the winners of The World Club Cup?

Did they get willing sponsors, or do FIFA have money to burn?

Saudi Arabia

Dazn paid a cool 1bn for the media rights

Saudi Arabia paid 1bn for a share of Dazn

The prize money at the comp is 1bn

And of course not long after that Saudi Arabia got the 2034 World Cup
