No interest in European footy next year, and they only show a few PL games, which are on Saturday mornings when I'm on the golf course
I didn't know TNT had games on a Saturday morning. I always watched them midweek evenings.
You don't want to watch the best teams in Europe then?
Tonights game: I don't watch every spurs match but that must have been their best defensive display of the season. Well organised and rock solid and let's be fair United threw everything at them in the second half.
Congratulations Spurs.

It's a weak competition because two dreadful teams, the league table doesn't lie, reached the final. They shouldn't be anywhere near the final, either of them.

Spurs won, good for them. Even a devalued trophy is better than no trophy.

Well, I’d like to say the least worst team won. But it strikes me that Spurs realised that all they had to do was defend, because United would not score if they played until midnight.

Congratulations to Spurs but, let’s be honest. Neither of these teams are anywhere near good enough to be playing Champion’s League.

I thought Spurs would win tonight as we had our first choice defence back, coupled with Man United’s lack of quality up front.

Poor final and Spurs will struggle to compete at the big boys table.
At least we got a few Quid to spend. 😉

I'm not overly bothered about watching other games, especially when Utd aren't in the comp. I never watch Europa matches unless Utd are playing.

There might be the odd big tie in Champions League, but most are a big team against a rubbish one. I tend to watch Champions League as it happens to be on anyway, but paying a good chunk of money a month for a few games, none featuring the team you support, is not value for money

Ange ball changed a bit in this comp, the defensive display against Frankfurt who were one of the best teams was so much different than the league displays.

Question is will he adapt a different strategy in the league next season.

That’s if Levy doesn’t sack him 😂

Time for Man Utd to start acting like a big club and give Amorin the boot. He's been nothing short of a disaster at all levels and if you allow that level of mediocrity to be rewarded you might aswell throw in the towel.

The only clown was in the Man Utd dugout tonight.

What a good end to the season Spurs get an open top bus and CL, and Arsenal win nothing but get CL.

So that must mean we’ve had a better season than them 😂

I've seen absolutely world class teams at Spurs win nothing. Now I've seen the worst Spurs team in my life win a European trophy.

God awful game, I'm not sure we actually had a shot - I still think the goal was a Shaw OG.

So happy for Sonny, he's stuck it out with us and he looked absolutely made up lifting the trophy.

I'm almost slightly annoyed that Ange's "I always win a trophy second season" statement has been proven correct. 😂 God knows how he's done it. Does he keep his job now? Can't overlook the fact we are literally the worst team to not get relegated this season. If he does stay he needs to drastically change his playstyle, as it may work in cup games but categorically does not work in the Premier League. Tonight's game showed that he can actually get them to defend after all - not sure why he never tried in the league. If he doesn't change.. then trying to balance a Champions League campaign with a relegation battle will be tough and probably finish us off.

Felt like a proud dad watching Johnno lift the trophy.

He’s had nothing but stick from Spurs fans since arriving and without his contributions you’d probably be relegated and Trophyless (not sure if he touched it or not but him being there helped force Shaw into the error).

Still can’t believe Ange’s prophecy came true 😂

So after Ange got his tactics right last night, and Amorin didn't , Spurs fans still want Ange gone..
He got you a trophy, isnt that more important than playing pretty football and winning nothing?
As for Amorin, I get its his first season but even Stevie Wonder could see you needed changes to go for it.
I remember the comments when Slot put all the attacking subs on to try and win a game, we'll at least he went for it.

Awful game.

Garnacho and Ugarte on the bench? Subs made way too late. Amorim got it very wrong last night, although he was almost saved by the 2 headers in the 2nd half. Going to be an interesting Summer.

Spurs deserved the win. Utd were toothless.

There’s a really stupid and immature campaign on Twitter started by non Liverpool fans, to try and get Trent Alexander-Arnold voted in as Liverpool FC’s player of the season. 😡

Just so that people know where they SHOULDN’T go in order to join in with this pathetic stunt, this is the link.

DO NOT LOWER YOURSELVES TO PARTICIPATING IN THIS.

Yeah, I've heard about this and it baffles me as I thought he was good. Think he's our top scorer for the season? Can't understand 'fans' sometimes.

I had a few exchanges with Spurs fans on Twitter about him. General consensus I got back was:

1) He only scores tap ins
2) He doesn’t track back enough
3) They’ll happily drive him back to Forest themselves

🤷‍♂️

I think you have to cut Ange some slack now however bad the season has been we have won a trophy and all them fans that travelled will never forget last night.

You have said you have given up on Spurs this season and stopped watching games and that’s entirely up to you, but as a lifelong fan I’ve endured watching a dreadful league season but it’s been capped with night that admittedly was a poor performance but will live long in the memory.

So I would like to see him given another season with the hope that he realizes managing in the premier league takes a different approach.

Hate when people say this as well. It's only ever said by people who've never played the game themselves. Inzaghi and Van Nistelrooy only scored tap-ins, but they did alright. To score tap-ins requires a high level of positioning and being in the right place at the right time.

At the start of each season, before any games are played, it is always disheartening to see Man Utd sitting around mid table, due to it being alphabetical order.

Next season will be great, as our mid table position will be an instant improvement

Yeah that's pretty much was I was saying. Perfectly understandable if he's given more time now - but he has to understand that his 'tactics' in the league were completely wrong and didn't work whatsoever. A bit more pragmatism required, or he'll just be sacked by November anyway.

It only needs a few tweaks to be honest. Instead of having the wing backs bombing inside and only leaving one midfielder to do all the defending, I'd just like see more conventional wing backs (overlapping and staying wide), plus a double pivot in the midfield. Lot of teams play that way but they do it because it works. He also needs to assess the constant injuries, because it's not luck, it's a bi-product of the way we play, sprinting around like headless chickens for 90 minutes, instead of just pressing at the right times.
