Looking at someone to rumours going on outside Kerkez and Frimpong there seems to be a lot of noise about Florin Writz

Been talk about City walking away and Bayern not impressing him

But seems a lot of money for someone I didn’t think the club needed but maybe a change in the way we play

You overlook that BL do not want to sell him a Bundersliga opponent

I do believe that Peps scratches were due to a dalliance with a member of the female staff at City which caused a marriage break up. ☹️
Are you sure?
I read a while ago that his wife went back to Spain for her business, and they were drifting apart. That was long before any scratches appeared :)

I really really want to keep Mainoo. He showed unbelievable potential last year, and despite this being a poor season, he is very young (only recently turned 20). Depending on players in squad next season, perhaps a loan deal could help him play regular football and develop as a player. Or maybe they can find a way to develop him at Utd, but would hate to lose him permanently.

A lot of the above could be said for Garnacho as well. If Amorim can't find a place for him regularly in the side next year, I'd rather give him a chance to go on loan rather than leave permanently. Seemed to work well for Amad. But, if Utd are desperate to free up cash, Garnacho seems the most likely to leave I think, Mainoo more likely to stay. As much as he could improve a great deal over the next 3-5 years, the sad fact is will be Utd can't wait that long. Will he be massively better next season? Will he be able to develop at all if there isn't an improvement in the players around him, including the character of the players? Utd may need to look to trim out some of the inexperience, for experienced and confident players, just for better balance. At least in attacking positions.

In terms of Sancho, I just feel he is really really average. I struggle to believe anyone that says he is a better player at Chelsea, I just don't see it. He's played 30 times in the PL this year, but only played 90 mins 8 times, and less than 60 minutes (not including no starts) 14 times. His contract ends in 2026, so perhaps a club can be found for him a bit more easily, but I don't think the big clubs will be queuing up for him, wanting to get anywhere near matching his salary. Rashford's contract doesn't end until 2028, but I suspect his highlights package might fool a big club into investing in him, perhaps they may even get the best out of him, but it is a huge risk. Antony has seemed to have done well, and so perhaps he will have a lot of interest in Europe, and he may feel happier being away from England anyway?

Casemiro has become an interesting one. Contract up in 2026 anyway, and maybe he will leave. But, at 32, and suddenly showing how valuable his experience can be in Europe, I can't say I'd be surprised if he stays or if Amorim has warmed to him. If Utd can develop a much stronger attacking team, who can better hold onto the ball and compete with the physical battle up top, the need for a defensive midfielder that can run his socks off is probably less critical. A Casemiro may still have a lot to offer

I think a German club will come in for Sancho given how well he did at Dortmund….or I hope they do.

Casemiro has had a 2nd wind this past 4 weeks but ultimately we’ve still lost games. I do think him and Mainoo would be a good pairing in the future. But he’s expensive and it’s easy for new players coming in to look at his salary and demand more.

I honestly think we’re years away from a top 4 squad.

Don't Spurs have a Cock as part of their logo?

Nailed on for a Spurs win tonight. Fill yer boots lads. Thank me later.

Reports and videos of series trouble in San Sebastián with Utd & Spurs fans .
It’s embarrassing, no wonder others countries hate the English .

I think you're one manager away from that, plus a striker. It's putting together a title winning team that's a tougher challenge though. The manager is by far the most important factor for success at any football club and it's something you've got wrong time and time again.

Things change fast in football and all the top clubs aren't exactly in a great place. Even Liverpool have looked a shadow of the team they were before Christmas.
