Yeah the pull of Man Utd will always be there but it does wain a little as we found out for a while and also depending on wages

Rashford will of course be pure profit but got to be a hit on players like Antony , Sancho who cost significant money

May have to sacrifice players like Garnacho and Mainoo

Garnacho AND Mainoo ............................. not a chance.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised to see one of them go. My money would be on Garnacho.
Snap.

I just don't see Garnacho playing the No. 10 role or wing back role consistently well, the way Amorim wants. Perhaps he could have been given a few years to learn and develop, but probably better off at a side that plays a wide midfielder. And if they are willing to sell, his value may be higher if they get rid sooner rather than later.

No idea what's happened to Mainoo, other than he is young and likely to have dips. Maybe contract talks have put him under more pressure, given his demands. But, still a lot of potential for him in the 4 central midfield roles

How do you rate Garnacho?

I may have asked this before 😬

I rate him highly, but he could be soooooooooooo much better.
He arrived with a bang, scored that overhead gaol vs Everton and I think it's gone to his head somewhat.
He suffers from tunnel vision and can only see a shot, rather than a pass.
If that can be trained out of him and he learns to see the big picture I think he could be absolutely world class.
Oh, he must also learn to stop falling over so bloody easily!

Spot on.
He’s still only 20,but needs to realise he’s not ALL THAT & put the work in,imo.
There’s definitely something there.

Watching Garnacho now is like watching prime Marcus Rashford. I’ve said so times.

Same poor decision making. Same tunnel vision, head down lack of awareness of what’s around him. His career has totally stalled.

The more I see of him, the less I think he suits the system Amorim wants to play. I’d love to see him flourish, but I just don’t think he has it in him to do it at United. I think there’s an underlying issue with attitude as well, which doesn’t help him.
