It’s really not. They’ll talk about the specific clubs/players/transfer links/what they ate for breakfast/number of bowel movements the manager had that day to fill the time if it was United/city/liverpool/chelsea.

Interesting to see how Aina does - seen a few reports that he might be on the list to replace Trent , would be a good bit of business , lose one on a free and then bring another Prem proven one in on a free

Wouldn’t be free. We’ve just taken one year extension option.
Be value for money though he’s superb. Hopefully he signs a long term extension

Always been impressed by him when ever seen him play - at 28 his next move or contract will be his last big one and you also have Williams who can slot in

Because nobody wants to listen to 90 minutes of chat about Forest and Palace, even most die hard fans of those clubs
In fact, I bet most will just tune in at 8pm to watch the game, unless they are really interested in what Carragher has to say about the upcoming match.
I suspect the 1st 90 mins is just to capture as many general fans they can, try and find the best talking points of the weekend

Never been to Selhurst Park myself. But whenever I see Palace on TV, the noise and atmosphere always sounds pretty good.
When I went to the Cup Final in 2016 the noise made by the Palace fans was something else. A very passionate bunch.

Went there in the 90’s and it was mental - felt very enclosed and the noise just reverberated around the ground - home fans were non stop as well , great atmosphere

Regarding Palace, do they have plans to upgrade the ground, expand etc? It's a fabulous atmosphere but the matchday income, lack of, must be hitting them,
