No....in the old days the linesman would have had his flag up the moment the ball came in.

In the old days your offside tying your lace by the corner flag.
So it wouldn’t of counted.

Yeah, I was only commenting during the lengthy wait, as I assumed it was an interference issue. Not sure the point in automated offside, if it takes that long to see the scorer is offside

Auto offside is good for two players but not so great in this scenario where there’s lots of players.
