Getting a great player when he tries and isn't banned.
And how often is that? Is he someone that will go missing if he isn't happy or will he put a shift in anyway. I'd rather a player tries even if service is shocking and he misses some chances as he's at least gettign into the right places. Nothing worse than a player that hides, doesn't show or doesn't make runs

Well he's been banned for 7 games in total. And he's done the most walking this season after VVD...granted a lot of that was probably walking back to kick off again.

Sounds like a United legend in the making if he gets the occasional ban!

Being serious, though, if these rumours come to fruition he would be a great addition. And if the additional rumours which are circulating regarding Mateta or Osimhen (or similar types of player) are true then we could see a very different sort of United start to emerge next season.

I still think back to the end of the summer transfer window last year and remember the complete lack of excitement and inspiration I felt. We had just endured a season where goals were hard to come by, despite Hojlund having a decent debut year. And how did United seek to build? By not buying a striker. Sure, they brought in a number 10 in Zirkzee, but he was never going to be prolific. I simply could not see the words “United” and “firepower” ever being used in the same sentence.

The ensuing struggle has come as absolutely no surprise. And the occasional reliance on Maguire as a last ditch front man merely reinforces what a breathtakingly poor summer window the club had. We’ve skirted around the relegation battle most of the season, and the make up of the squad is such that it has been fully deserved.

Don’t score, you don’t win. It’s not rocket science. And there are no goals in that current squad.

The rumours are he's getting off. Can't prove it. The strong rumour is they have bugger all so are trying to charge him with failing to keep his phone... When he gave it to them as requested..... Got it back.. what keep it forever? Lol you want it keep it.....

Trail kicked back until end of season now

All that just so you can say Cunha Mateta and play the Lion King before matches.

It’s a massive summer for a number of clubs

But getting players like Cunha are a different strategy- players that have done it in the Prem - it’s exactly how we started getting back

I’ve not read the article, so it may well refer to it, but segregation of home and away fans will have some sort of impact. There will always be some empty space between home and away support, and as a consequence empty seats.

All I can say from my own experience is that the vast majority of games at OT are sell-outs, invariably months ahead of match day. If I go on the club website there will always be games where I can pick up a single ticket owing to either ticket returns or season ticket exchange (when holders tell the club they won’t be attending allowing for the seat to be sold for an individual game), but if I try to buy two seats together to take one of my kids, not a chance.

So I’m not sure where the “official” stats for this table come from, because they don’t reflect the reality.
My mate has 2 tickets for Utd but because of work commitments can't go to every game. He offers them to family and then myself and the Mrs. He does this because he used to leave them spare and Utd wrote to him saying that if he wasn't using them they'd be taken off him. What they really meant was the odd game he couldn't go let the club sell them to a "tourist" for a vastly inflated price.

Interesting conundrum - winning a cup or CVL qualification. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cddenz1yd52o

Surely no brainer and as a player you want to be lifting trophies

This question has been doing the rounds among Forest fans for the last few weeks. Would you prefer CL qualification or winning the FA Cup?

Honestly, I can see it from both sides.

Pure, unadulterated, football-fan view - FA Cup. You want to see your club win silverware and be etched into the history books for it forever.

But these days.....CL qualification is "worth" a lot more to the club for the long term and for where our owner wants us to be. If we get CL, we have a stronger hand in keeping our better players away from the vultures that will circle in the summer. Plus we'll also have a stronger hand when attracting new/better players when we try to strenghten our squad.

Head and heart one for me and I can't really give a straight answer!

My usual response is "I want both"! ;) 🤣
