An interesting table to look at.

Bear in mind, City's success is still relatively recent and so they are not yet getting tourist fans. Maybe they will come in 10 years or so but until then, it's largely locals I suspect. You don't just create fans, not when you have been next door to one of the biggest clubs in the world for your existence.

Ours is a lot of tourists and being london.. still a lot more than we had at UP

I believe we have more ST holders than Upton park could hold full stop

@Arthur Wedge just under 53k, a sensible figure for us. We should fill that, or be close to it, most weeks. No point rattling in a stadium, you want atmosphere. We don't get tourist fans, that isn't an insult by the way, they are a great revenue stream, so we need to be practical.

We've priced out loyal match going fans and concessions chasing the tourist £s and priced tickets using Newcastle, Villa and West Ham as the benchmark. So three clubs, two of which have played Champions league football and one which is in London and won a European trophy.

A dangerous and stupid game, if we'd been relegated they'd be begging fans to come back.

That is a sensible size - will be a decent amount of corp there to bring in extra revenue

Are those for Norway tourists 🤔😉😁

Speaking to people that have been there saying it’s a very nice stadium

I've heard we have brought concessions back from next season

My PP yesterday was delighted, his ticket will drop dramatically

Should never have been taken away in the first place, I've no idea how much clubs actually make from ticket sales, but I bet it's nowhere near worth it from a PR point of view.

It's ridiculous, I can understand in a business sense that a ticket at concession rate is a loss compared to a full price. As you can sell it for the same. However as you say it's really not much bring in gate receipts. The money is in TV

Fulham fans have been moaning for several seasons about being priced out by increasing matchday and season ticket prices but as with many clubs itis falling on deaf ears. The next generation won't have a chance of going regularly and that is sad on so many levels

Seeing a few posts on Twitter that after receiving his yellow card last night, Pep spat in the direction of one of the officials.

Not seen any footage of it, don't know if it's true.

But if it is, can we expect him to face a five match stadium ban for it? Same as our owner was given for exactly the same offence?

Or will he be allowed to do it 114 more times before anyone starts investigating it?

I think Pep spits a lot onto the ground - you see him do it regularly , a bit like the golfers in the US , it’s not a great look on telly but I can’t recall seeing anything after the yellow card

Probably not shown by the TV coverage. I imagine it depends if the 4th official thought it was aimed at him or and act of dissent and whether it gets included in the match report. Don't expect oo much to come fromit

Man City are an example of the instant success coming back and biting a little

They prob gained a significant amount of followers during a successful period who were more than happy to clap along when the team was doing well

A bit of a down season and those followers will not be too be bothered

Also even during the successful periods the club has on a number of occasions failed to sell out

They will always have that core support who were there on the Kippax at Maine Rd

Also there is the money element

City pay a lot of wages to players and because of PSR matchday revenue is key , so ticket prices are part of that - Pep likes spending money , it doesn’t grow on trees and they can’t use the overinflated and P.O. Box sponsers any more

I suspect it’s prob one of the reasons they didn’t renew KDB with him earning a huge amount , same with Haaland etc - big wages and big fees - money needs to come from somewhere

And in other news - that will be the end of any talk of Martinez being the best GK in the world
Nothing to do with a lack of winning something for me . I’ve been falling out of love with football for a few years now probably since the introduction of VAR and daft kick off times .I will still re-new next season but my love for premier lge football is waining thin .

That’s a fair shout about VAR

Daft kick off times is to satisfy those foreign markets that the Prem and Sky sell those vastly expensive rights too - again more about the money

As we are nearing the season end who will win the individual awards
