Would be a quality signing if it happens and exactly what Man Utd need. Don't remember many people complaining about Cantona, Keane or Rooney having a short fuse. I think that issue is massively overstated.

This. With brass knobs on.

Or maybe Fernandes is one those that could be on the way out

I would like to think that Amorim and Fernandes have sat down more than once and had this discussion. And I would hope that Bruno at least gives the manager a summer transfer window and a full season to see what trajectory it puts the club on.

Massive game in the hunt for CL places tonight.

There is a potential world in which Forest, Newcastle and Villa all qualify for the CL at the expense of Chelsea and Man City.

That would be immense! It would be almost everything the PL has tried to avoid for the last 20-odd years!

It would seem a bit strange to be spending that level of money on the type of player they already have who is one of their better players

If he was more a 9 then I could see it

Unless Fernandes was looking to go
Possibly. For me, there were flashbacks to Pierre van Hooijdonk when Cunha was linked with us! (Apologies for the ancient reference!)

Blimey that’s a blast from the past - did he go on strike ?

Cunha is class. He just loves a red

Reminds me of diego costa in a way .. in that he would score goals and causes issues but every now and then you would lose him for a few games for a silly red

However who cares if he is that spark on the pitch

One of if not the best player I've seen play for us was dicanio, he was mental. Didn't know what attitude he would show up with that day

There was a story from don Hutchinson about him. Roeder had set out training exercise... Midfielders passing the ball long to attackers

Dicanio announces "no today I play midfield" deliberately overhit every ball over the fences , ruined the session. He then stormed off on his little bike home .. next day comes in "Paolo sorry.. I baked you tiramisu" blooming nutter.. but that goal Vs Wimbledon. My god

Harry Redknapp did a whole 20 minute piece on Paolo when we were at a charity golf day and dinner was later and he was asked to a do Q&A. Whole place in stitches and Harry was adamant every word had been as it happened
