I didn't watch the shoot out, I just hate them so very much.
The Europa League is where it's at this season.
Hopefully we'll see more of Chido, he very nearly won it for us.

Sky Sports did a piece after Keanes criticism of Bruno.

Since he arrived, Bruno has created more chances than anyone else in league, and 2nd only to Salah and Son in goals/assists combined.

Remarkable stat, given our strikers don't get chances. I'm guessing a chance is registered when Bruno hits a sideways pass to Rashford, Garnacho, Antony or Dalot, and they then charge into a blockade of defenders, and perhaps hit a speculative shot from 20 yards

Yes, since he arrived. But in the last eighteen months, as a team, we have created next to nothing. As the goals for column would tend to endorse.

I recall a stat about a year ago which suggested Hojlund had one of the highest conversion rates in the division. Which, given he hasn’t scored a hatful in the league, must also suggest we haven’t created a hatful of chances.

I would be genuinely interested to see how a striker like Haaland would perform in that side.

He did look lively. Time to give him a start or try Garnacho there.

I think that was when he was on the run of 5/6 goals in a row in the league.

Man Utd's problem is both they don't create enough AND the strikers are bad. The 343 formation only works with one ball playing CB, two top class wing backs, two all round midfielders with high energy and a world class striker who can run, hold it up and score. Man Utd literally have none of those things bar Mainoo. Maybe Mount if he's fit but that looks unlikely. Given INEOS look clueless and Amorin isn't going to change, it's going to be a struggle as there's no evidence the recruitment will improve.

Some of the performances over the last few years actually make Ole look like a tactical genius!:oops:

It’d still a hard watch being a Utd fans.

We’re still miles away. I’ve never seen a Utd team give the ball away so much. Keeping the faith that we can offload and bring it better players. Zirkzee seems to be playing a bit better and Garnacho caused no end of problems but his final pass and shot were shocking.

Been saying for a while to use Chido more, but he’s only young so his game time needs to be managed.

As a neutral and not specifically a Utd hater it was a hard watch.
A lot of them look like they just aren't trying and deserve the criticism that Rashford got.
You can almost understand why Bruno Fernandez always looks like he's on the verge of tears.
As much as I dislike him you generally can't fault his effort.

You get the whole end at Preston too, its a great away day.

I think ive been there before in the Championship days but ill haveto consult my ticket stubs at home to be sure!

Annoyingly lost the app I was tracking the 92 clubs on when I changed phones!

I really hope for a Villa Brighton final.
If its not to be Palace, anyone to win it apart from of course Brighton or Man City. Some of our lot would love a Palace vs Brighton final, but I'd not enjoy that. The derby games are never enjoyable, the dread of losing to them is too much for me. If it was an FA Cup final I'd have to hide somewhere under a rock.

Don't worry, we'll put you out of any misery. We owe you after that inept home display recently.
