Lucky for United that there are 4 teams worse than them this year

That’s 8 defeats in the league since Amorin arrived just 4 wins

Rate him as a coach but it’s a big step backwards at the moment on the pitch

He hasn’t got the players, Phil, and when he has they can’t stay fit.

I thought United would have been worthy of at least a point, but when chances aren’t coming along very often you simply have to put them away.

I would like to have seen Obi given half an hour with Zirkzee tucked in behind him. Playing a 17 year old up top for thirty minutes isn’t going to lose you the game.

As I say, Zirkzee looked really sharp today and the lack of end product may well have had more to do with the lack of quality around him, rather than Zirkzee himself.

I think Amorim missed a trick today by not using his bench. He had absolutely nothing to lose.

The majority of moves which broke down were a result of him being caught in possession.

I feel for the fella to be fair. Not started since the Newcastle game and looked miles off the pace.
He was signed at an age when Fergie would be getting rid. Wonderful player in his day, problem is those days are behind him

He’s got some job to do that’s for sure. Unlucky with injuries but the state of the squad is down to those before him.

You never know, Fergie was on the brink of losing his job and look what happened #blindfaith

it’s going to take time for him to bring in the players he wants , PSR is crippling the club and until then he has to do what he can to get the best out of the players he has there

Trying to shoe horn players into his system doesn’t seem to be working so maybe he needs to adjust his system to get the best out of them

And to not make a sub until 90mins ? Even if they are kids then give them a go

If the Rashford and Antony moves become permanent in the summer, and either Mainoo or Garnacho move on, that potentially frees up a significant amount of money for signings.

And in total agreement regarding your final paragraph.

I think top four is now out of the question!! 😂
I feel sorry for Amorim because he has all the rubbish to clear out and no money for newbies.
I think he's already planning for next season on the assumption that he may get just one new player.
I thought Zirkzee was superb and if only Garnacho could finish.
You can see that they are all totally bereft of confidence.
Oh, and Casemiro is not the future!

I've seen the same fanbase moan about a push on Konate in the build up to Everton's equaliser, I'm sure they'll agree Agba was pushed by Diaz first.

Also, this could be the worst ref performance I've seen in a long while.
Both were not fouls.

Fans moan about everything, at least both ref's was consistent. I was surprised the same ref and var combination (oliver and kavannagh) overturned the Chelsea goal on friday.

Ait-Nouri was lucky not to be booked going by the referees standards today.

Are any Utd fans concerned the formation is a serious issue and will likely never work in this league? Picking a manager so rigidly married with one system is a huge risk, especially when he's actually come in and done worse then the previous manager who was a failure. It's shocking how bad he's been and how bad the team have been. All his credibility is vanishing as each week goes on.

You look at that side and it needs 9-10 new starters before it will challenge for the title or a CL with that system. Even a Spurs side with 5 players missing and a crazed manager in crisis still managed to control the game.

A. Utd also had many injuries, hence the eight teenagers on the bench.
B. I don't think Spurs controlled the game.

Nah you cannot use the injured players as an excuse, I tried that and was told £200 million will sort that out 😉

Out of interest, why is that?
I was in the lower behind the goal next to the away fans for Spurs V West ham last season and the view when the ball was down the other end was poor. Also the concourse and lack of toilets isnt ideal for a high % of the 5k fans heading down at half time.

They are ok for NFL games as its a gentle stream of fans using the facilities throughout the game.
