He had very little control in that game , flashing cards around

We didn’t play well and got dragged into a poor game and an ugly battle

I haven’t watched the game, but from reading in here it sounds like the ref put in a fair and balanced performance?

I don't have TNT, followed the game on the BBC sport page. None of the pundits from TV, radio or journos on the site had a pop at the ref. It was a feisty Derby, how they should be. Always hard to ref a derby but the neutrals clearly thought he did okay

The ref was fine. Maybe it wasn't a free kick for Everton's first goal, but Liverpool could have still tried to defend. Not like ref gave a penalty.

I guess Liverpool will be demanding Anthony Taylor and Michael Oliver never referee their games again.

Probably worse. We've pretty much had 90 minutes of referee bashing, and counting.
