Have Spurs really bid £70m for Guehi? . Crazy offer if genuine. Looks like there could be some fun and games today, even if the values are not large. Quite a few teams need players to see them through the season.

Newcastle bid £65mil in the summer for him and they turned that down

It’s a lot of money for a decent CB

The Athletic says the Spurs bid was less than what Newcastle offered

Come the summer he will only have 12 months left. Fair play to Palace for holding their nerve but at some point that valuation will drop significantly.

Numbers today have to be taken with a pinch of salt, until confirmed. Logic suggests The Athletic is correct, the BBC were quoting The Guardian.

Strange if true. We just bought a centre back, named Kevin Danso. I don't think we needed to buy two in all honesty. Will have Romero, Van de Ven and Dragusin when fit.

Excellent news. JWP has returned to the club after Forrest mutually agreed to let him return. Helps us with numbers in the middle. Gives us two players at the club again who can have their names in 3 initials (AWB) and he's just a good pro to have around the place. Even tho soler is an excellent player and has started to adapt I did think jwp leaving on loan was a transfer too many just for the sake of it

Honest pro, works hard. Can take a set pieces bingo
Been a consummate professional the whole time at Forest, despite not getting a lot of minutes. Was unreal in our win over Liverpool and I was hopeful we'd finally score from a set piece, but it wasn't to be.

Sadly, with Danilo and Sangare back in the fold, he's 6th choice midfielder now, which speaks volumes to how far we've come in such a short space of time.

Hopefully he's back getting regular game time under Potter.

Was gonna ask for your thoughts on this.

Liked the guy and he did well for us when he did play. Took a massive one for the team when he got red carded against Chelsea but sadly couldn’t get back in after his ban. Did nothing wrong really, just found himself down the pecking order.

Grateful to him and wish him well. 👍

Not sure there was an answer, as I've been side tracked on planes on treadmills.

But, was just curious as to who Rashford would effectively replace in the Villa side to improve them? Is it Jacob Ramsey?
It does appear to be Ramsey who's been playing on the left wing, and has only chipped in with 1 league goal. So I imagine Rashford starts there.

All this talk of Rashford and his team being a disgrace, but hes managed to get himself a move from a team fighting relegation to one in the latter stages of the Champions League....fair play to him :ROFLMAO:

Joking apart, it really is a move up for him at this moment. Maybe not in a few years time, who knows, but Villa are currently in a way better place than Utd right now. Look at it with cold, clinical eyes, it's hard to argue against this.

I think it’s a very good move for everyone

What will be interesting is if he performs - what will United do then
