In a way, I'm sad to see him go.
However, it's the right thing for United and the right thing for him ....................... he had to go, he wasn't happy at United any more.

Have caught up with MOTD

It’s a foul against MGW with the player manhandling him , it should be blown up more

Think we see a hell of a lot of this grappling of opposition players at corners and I often think it gets overlooked.

Just been listening to a Forest podcast on my morning dog walk and one of the guys on there said he was sitting right behind the goal when it happened. He said the ref had noticed the pair of them grappling before the corner was taken and he delayed the kick to walk over and speak to both of them about it. Presumably they each received a clear warning of the consequences of continuing to do it.

Given the fact that the ref has literally just given the warning (which he doesn’t have to do by the way) then frankly it was bloody stupid of the Brighton defender to get MGW in a bear hug and he deserves a penalty against him. I’d be saying the same if it was a Forest defender - and probably be using harsher vocabulary!

It just shows how stupid some are

It’s good to actually see a ref give them a warning first and then do it again he will blow up - can’t be any complaints

I'll counter that. It would be good to see a ref not giving any warning as it really is not necessary. Just give the decision when the kick is taken and the foul occurs.

Think Rashford to Villa is a good move for him and Villa. Always rated him - apart from when he dived to win a penalty against us last season.

Not really sure what has gone on with him at Man Utd and whose fault it is, but I hope he can kick on and do well for Villa (except for against Forest! :ROFLMAO: )

Rashford imo is a very talented player , a lot of ability but it’s done wrong somewhere

And that’s imo been a combination of the mess of the club and also his own application and desire

Crossroads time now - go and show he can still do it

Yes I agree.

The refs have caused this problem by letting it go for to long!

Saw this doing to rounds on social media over the weekend. Most amusing!

Fair play to the pub for honouring the deal! Hopefully the publicity they get off the back of it will help them recoup any losses they suffered!

Not sure there was an answer, as I've been side tracked on planes on treadmills.

But, was just curious as to who Rashford would effectively replace in the Villa side to improve them? Is it Jacob Ramsey?

But, luckily you already know the answer to this. I believe you have already claimed that no Man Utd player could get into the first eleven of any of the top sides. Are Villa one of the top sides you speak of? If so, then the best Rashford can do is show he can do it off the bench? I'm not sure that is Villa's plan though, otherwise why pay him more than any other player at the club?

🙄

Is it because it’s Monday

Excellent news. JWP has returned to the club after Forrest mutually agreed to let him return. Helps us with numbers in the middle. Gives us two players at the club again who can have their names in 3 initials (AWB) and he's just a good pro to have around the place. Even tho soler is an excellent player and has started to adapt I did think jwp leaving on loan was a transfer too many just for the sake of it

Honest pro, works hard. Can take a set pieces bingo
