Seen a few random reports that United will be paying 40% of his wages and Villa the other 60%

With the deal having an option to buy

But I can’t see Villa giving him £350k a week

United are pushing for Villa to pay the bulk of Rashford’s salary on the basis that it is Rashford himself who is pushing for the move.

I’m not going to lie, it’ll be a happy day as far as I’m concerned. And I’ll bet it will be a huge weight lifted from those who are trying to look towards United’s future.

Going to be a hard sell to get Villa to pay anywhere near his current salary

But it’s a big crossroads for him now

Take a pay cut and grab the opportunity to get his career back on track or sit and rot

Villa are in the CL - he will have the chance to show Man Utd what they are missing

Nobody will know what Rashford can very occasionally be capable of more than the staff and other players at United. But sadly, for whatever reason, he has decided he can’t be bothered at United any more. That is a matter for him.

I have seen so many clips of him walking or barely breaking into a jog when United are out of possession. His lack of fight when he either loses the ball himself, or when others do, is little short of scandalous.

Having secured his last ludicrous contract at the club, his performances since have been little short of offensive to those of us who pay good money to go and watch United at first hand.

If this loan move comes off and, more importantly, is followed by a permanent exit, then personally I do not know a single United fan who will be anything other than delighted to see the back of him.

Maybe there is something else going on behind when it comes to the way he has been managed , the set up , the issues a number of a players have had

But for a fan the minimum should be effort and heart and it’s been missing

Something isn’t right there because i think he had a lot of ability

Guess the next couple of months will be interesting and also massive for his career

I can only suggest that they didn’t see the replay from behind the play where they clear touch can be seen 👍
From what I've seen on this forum it's impossible to have a debate with you. You just keep wearing people down until they lose interest. Doesn't mean you are right of course, just people get fed up discussing with you so you then think you've won the argument.

You post on a forum , surely you will expect people to respond to a post - is that not how debate works

Maybe you should look at the way you responded in post 74,363 whilst also having a look at what other people posted about the incident 👍 enjoy your night

It's the sort of penalty that you are delighted to get and gutted when it goes against your team.

I've seen them given and also seen them waved away as a coming together of legs.

The defender doesn't actually do much. He's running with gakpo who's trailing leg collides with the defender. He takes the contact and goes to ground.

That’s about it tbh - seen them happen when a player cuts across someone else , some looking for the contact as well - it’s accidental

It’s one of them ,depends who the ref is!😳

But imo PL players don’t usually trip themselves up when they’re past the defender.
When your going fast it dosnt take much to bring you down.

Because Gakpo literally trips over his own feet.

Seriously. Are you watching that and seeing a Bournemouth player clipping him from behind, rather than him tripping over his own feet…?
Seen a Forest player lose a wrestling match and get a pen because the other player was stronger!

Do you think it was handball in the build up to one of the goals?

Can’t bear hug a player last time I checked?

In previous seasons, probably would have been given as handball but Sangaré got tangled with the defender, both went down and incidental contact based on how they’re treating handball decisions this season. Gave Neco a much deserved (and overdue) 1st goal, so I won’t complain
