Because Gakpo literally trips over his own feet.

Seriously. Are you watching that and seeing a Bournemouth player clipping him from behind, rather than him tripping over his own feet…?

So why didn’t VAR overturn it 🤷‍♂️

As you can see Cook has clipped him which made him trip which why VAR/PGMOL clarified the decision

The Bournemouth player as they said didn’t complain

Why didn’t VAR overturn it? Damn good question. I have no idea.

Please don’t try and suggest the angle of the link you’ve provided gives a better view of the incident than the previous one.

I repeat the question. Using the better angle (first link provided). Are you honestly seeing a Bournemouth player clip Gakpo rather than Gakpo tripping over his own feet?!?!

So you don’t see Gakpos leg get clipped by Cook ?

Surely the better angle is from behind both players

Forget Liverpool and their dodgy penalties, today is about Forest and Everton. Both with minority possession stats, 11 goals in credit 😊.

Now he's started to score I'm expecting a £70m bid from Arsenal for Beto tomorrow 🤣

Interesting challenge on Watkins there. A defender jumps and catches a forward on back with a high knee, ref often gives a foul (especially outside box). Keeper does it, no problemo

I don't get how you aren't seeing it, unless you're tuning him up. Pretty simple penalty.

Always been that way.
A ref told me it was for the keeper to protect himself while his arms are above his head.😳
Make of that what you will.

That’s an interesting VAR call

If Rodgers wasn’t there would the defender be able to get out to the attacker

Is he impacting the play because the defender is focussed on him

Not sure why they didn’t send the ref to the screen to at least check it

And if there’s any truth in the rumour then Rashford will be reducing his wage demands in order to help facilitate a move away.

I was discussing this with a Villa fan on the course this morning and he asked if I would be irritated if Rashford moved to Villa and started turning it on for them. My answer? Why would I be bothered what he does for anyone else, providing he’s no longer stinking out my club of choice?

He can go and be a star for Villa for all I care, unlikely as I think that will be. Just as long as he’s as far away from United as possible.

Seen a few random reports that United will be paying 40% of his wages and Villa the other 60%

With the deal having an option to buy

But I can’t see Villa giving him £350k a week

I haven’t actually seen the incident, but given what happened last week with Arsenal and had happened on other occasions, I don’t think we can use the line about VAR overturning/not overturning a decision to make sure it is correct.
