Durans a player with everything you’d look for in a striker but he’s still so raw that I think 70m plus is a great bit of business.

He could be world class one day but I fear going to Saudi he will just tick over unless they bring in a great coach.

I’ve probably seen more of Duran than any pundit has etc as I watch every game, most of which in person. I’m happy with him being sold as opposed to Watkins - he’s a far better natural finisher but as I said before, still so raw that for the price you just can’t say no. His production can be replaced for us.

I never watch Saudi football,but that’s the impression I get that all the players will do.

It’s 70mil Euros so around £64mil , not sure what his release clause is but you mentioned £100mil when we had this conversation last week - one of them was going ,

21 years old - play with Ronaldo for a couple of years and be back in Europe at 24 with a big chunk of money in the bank

But with Villa being offered £60mil for Watkins and £64mil for Duran

The £60mil for Watkins at 29 would be a very good deal

Got a serious knee injury 5 games after going there which had him out for a whole year , then 2 games after his comeback he does his hamstring and out for the rest of the season - done

In other news, I read today that United are working exceptionally hard to get Rashford to reduce his wage demands so that they can get him off the books. The player must know he has played his last game for the club - he now either wants to restart his career elsewhere or not. It’s up to him.
