I'm sure it would be the same if Forest decided they wanted to go to 50k. Clubs will pay their shares of the public works too but not all as the benefits stretch further than just football fans.

I believe our owner has plans to do just that. I've not heard of government money being involved in it though, but as you say it might be the case. (y)

Gerrard’s left his obscenely paid Saudi managerial job.

I wonder how many more clubs will employ him without realising what an utter failure he is as a manager?

But harsh considering he at least managed to win a title with Rangers - their first in a decade
A lot of people speculated that was down to his assistant Michael Beale. Although Beale has done just as poorly in management since then as well.

His Saudi team are in the bottom half, but their squad doesn't look as stacked as some of the other teams, so I've no idea what their expectations are.

No idea what happens in Saudi - some teams look like they have some superstars with lots of money , there main guy is Wjnaldum it seems

Harsh?

🤣🤣🤣

Answer me this. Based on his managerial career so far, would you ever want him to be the manager of Liverpool?

No

But that doesn’t mean his career as a manager has been an “utter failure”

I know when it comes to football there needs to be one extreme or the other as opposed to somewhere in the middle

He did well at Rangers , didn’t do well at Villa and who knows in Saudi

Whilst that doesn’t mean he should be getting Prem Jobs etc that doesn’t mean he has been an utter failure as a manager
