MacAllister ran into Doku just after Doku successfully kicked the ball. What else is Doku meant to do? Just leave it in case an opponent is flying in, and both players might collide after he gets the ball?
Assault implies some sort of intent on Doku's part in trying to hurt someone else. This is why the word assault is a ridiculous overexaggeration

agreed. hence why the first thing I said about the whole thing was we should have taken our chances before in the game. the way to win football matches is sticking the ball in the net. we had plenty of opportunities and didn't take them.You win some. You lose some.

The Doku thing wasn't a penalty for me, it was silly of him to put himself in that situation, shouldn't have let the ball bounce in the first place.

Really? Probably the biggest game of the season so far and football fans are discussing the game, most of been very complimentary about Lpool’s performance and believe they should of won, it was a Lpool fan that brought up the Doku tackle!
Maybe some Lpool fans should be less sensitive.
